The long distance range we use a tri-band GSM / GPRS modem with optionally integrated GPS unit.
The short distance range (<1200 meters) is covered by equipment that operates in the ISM band (915/868 MHz).
Since all our products are designed with modularity in mind, powerful systems can be built by just adding another low-cost module. All products operate either in the GSM band or in the ISM band, or support both bands.
